Better Today

May 18, 2005 | Comments

I'm feeling better today. I'm still having debates with phantoms in my head, but it's not as bad. I feel like the phantoms are listening with respect now.

Oddly enough, I slept the night through last night. I forgot to set my alarm before I fell asleep, but I woke up on time anyway. Whew!

I think I slept better for two reasons:

  • I walked around the neighborhood for twenty minutes after dinner. Exercise always does me good. I should have done it again tonight, but I worked late.
  • I did not eat a piece of the chocolate raspberry truffle cake that's in my fridge. I shouldn't have eaten a piece tonight, but it tastes so good.

I'm disappointed Vonzell got kicked off American Idol tonight. Carrie can sing, but she doesn't have as much personality. Vonzell will definitely get a CD deal, though, so that's not the last of her. I just hope she records a genre of music I like.

Random Thought: I like Mimosas (orange juice and champagne), but I don't like to drink often, so I make virgin mimosas with orange juice and seltzer water. Yum!

Hope the project's difficult aspects are improving.

It brings to mind the idea that I don't think work stays at work, like people say. How can it when it's you at work and you not at work? This is a debatable topic, however, what bothers me follows me around, so why am I bringing this up? So that you stay safe and focused on what's at hand. [I'm scolding you, but coming from looooove!] Try not to think about things too much, if not at all, when you're doing stuff that requires your full attention, like say, driving!Foot Tap Be safe, pal!

Aside from that, I hope you're having a fantastic life!

I know... I need a scolding. I can't ever leave work at work. tongue

Things are better, though. The exciting parts of the project are so fulfilling (in a geeky way). mischief

I totally agree about Vonzell - I like her way better than Carrie or Bo, both of whom I find dull. I hope we hear more from Vonzell in the future!
