NaSoAlMo 2012, Day 4

November 4, 2012 | Comments

The time changed last night. Lily Dawg doesn't understand the time change. She thinks I'm feeding her an hour later. Technically, I am.

I worked on the lyrics to Curiosity today. They weren't coming the first couple to stabs I took. I went to Conan's pizza to have pizza that I'm not supposed to eat. It wasn't even that good. But I took my notebooks so I could work on lyrics. I forgot to bring a pencil, though, and writing lyrics in pen is like doing the New York Times crossword puzzle in pen. You've got to be really good at it. I'm not.

Back home in the evening, I tried again at the kitchen table and again in the living room in the big comfy chair. Between those two places, I got the lyrics worked out. There's room for more lyrics in a bridge, but I'm happy with what I've got.

I also went to Super Target to buy a kitchen rug. Pine nuts were still on my shopping list, so I walked around the store looking. I wish there was an app that would tell you where to find things in a store. I didn't find any. I'm going to have to break down and go to Central Market or Whole Foods. Surely, they'll have pine nuts.
